Starting over sucks. When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.And then he opened his mouth.Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens. The hot alien living next door marks me.You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades. If I don't kill him first, that is.

Let me just say this:
DAEMON IS SO FREAKING HOT!!!!
If you've read this book and do not love it, I have no idea what's wrong with you.
Holy hotness.
I can't wait that I've waited this long to read the book! Obsidian is steamy all the way till the end! I never knew aliens could be so HOT! Chapter 26 was freaking steamy and then Chapter 27 was when I officially declare Daemon a jerk/douchebag. Gah! But still, you couldn't help but fall under his spell.
I quote this from Mundie Moms :
Being a the big TMI fan that I am, I'm going to go out on a limb and say if Daemon and Jace where to battle it out, it would be a close call on which character would win. - Mundie Moms
I mean like, totally. But I think Daemon is more INFURIATING than Jace. Man, bad boys totally rocks! There's not a thing in the book that I didn't love. It was epic till the end. I laughed all the way through Daemon and Katy's fighting scenes. Katy's comebacks is just totally awesome.
The fights with the Arums was awesomely epic too. My heart was beating fact like a drum. It got me at the edge of my seat in anticipation. The last few chapters got my chest aching so bad it hurts. I love those extra bits at the end of the book told from Daemon's POV. Obsidian ends with me hungry for more. Now, if only I have Onyx...
