The Ultimate Sacrifice.

Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.

In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy.

I kind of get why people hate this book. I went from blog to blog on Bloodrose review and most of which said either they hate it or they love it. You can't choose the in-between. Either it's black or it's white. There's no gray.

So this is a warning to people who hates rants and SPOILERS. Because honestly? I have no idea how to review on this book without giving away spoilers.

It was so not fair! Calla was suppose to choose between Shay and Ren and Cremer ended up killing Ren. That is so not choosing. I'm always Team Ren. ALWAYS. I always knew that Calla was going to end up with Shay eventually. I mean, what's the point of putting the human boy in the book if she's not going to end up with him right? But ergh!!! This last book got me wanting to pull my hair out of my head! It was just that frustrating!

I mean, the book was awesome. Don't get me wrong. Cremer did a perfect job with the history of the Keepers and Searchers. But other that that? I just want to shred my books to pieces. And I never want to shred a book. Ever. This was the first.

But in this trilogy. I just have to say Nightshade was the best. Wolfsbane was just kind of plain without Ren in it because there was no pull at all. And between Wolfsbane and Bloodrose, I say Bloodrose was much better. It just is. There was friction between ren and Shay and the pull Calla has between the two of them was undeniable. You could see though that Calla has more restraint towards Ren than Shay.

Why I like Ren was because, I mean, I have a tendency to vote for jerks. I find Shay just too... boyfriend-ish. Whatever. I'm done ranting here. But for what's still worth. I'm still willing to read Cremer's coming books. I just hope she doesn't break my heart like this ever again. I doubt I could ever fix my heart if she does it again.
FOREVER REN!!!
