ReVamped by Ada Adams Review

ReVamped
By Ada Adams
Self-published, 300 pages
20th February, 2012

A simple mission turned deadly.

Nineteen-year-old vampire Dawn has led a sheltered life within the confines of her father’s presidential headquarters. Upon being sent on a mission to revamp four goofy misfits into guardians of a peaceful little town of Angel Creek, Dawn believes that all her dreams have finally come true. What starts off as a simple task, turns into something unexpected, changing Dawn’s life forever and leading the action-loving, thrill-seeking vampire teen on a path of mystery, danger and intrigue.

When a human girl is kidnapped by a group of rogue vamps, Dawn discovers that there is more going on in Angel Creek than meets the eye. And it all connects to Ethan, the cute newcomer who seems too perfect to be true, Sebastian, the mysterious vampire with a turbulent past, and even Dawn herself. Dawn must not only succeed in revamping the troubled recruits, but must also prevent the vampire race from being overtaken by a malevolent villain who has a strange and obsessive fascination with her. As threat escalates, romance blooms, and ghosts from her past begin to surface, Dawn is sure of only one thing: her life will never be the same.

Firstly, thank you Ada Adams for giving me a copy of this for review :D

Anyways... this book was amazing. It totally took another turn in the vampire world. I mean, vampire coming out and living together with humans in peace...?
Yeah, but that would be AWESOME!

Dawn was forever living under her father's protection in Scarlet House until her father--the US vampire President, sent her on a mission which she was so excited about.

All of the characters were amazing. There were lots of character growth. Dawn was suppose to recruit all five vampires in Angel Creek and shape up. She made her team from couldn't stop killing each other, weak, and drunk to someone who could work together. Who can be friends with her. And who she could trust. There was also Ethan--a human, who was there to help her team of vampires. Sebastian was the ever mysterious guy in ReVamped. And no. ReVamped isn't much of a love triangle or instalove.

ReVamped took a turn which I totally did not expect. The plot twist was BRILLIANT. It will hit you with a BANG! and then you'll be like "OMG! o.O that really happened?!"

This fast-paced action book will leave you glued to your seat(or bed in my case). It will keep you awake at night just so you could read the book and found out what actually happened next.

  4. Yay, I absolutely loved this book (and Ada) and I'm so glad you did too! The unpredictableness of the plot and the awesomeness of the charcters were two of my favourite things, and this was definitely a one-sit read. It's not your average vampire story, that's for sure! ;)

Amazing & enthusiastic review, Fara! No we just have to wait for the bound-to-be-awesome sequel, ReAwakened! :) <3

  6. I've heard such great things about this book. I love vampire books where the vampires are out to the human and having a vampire president is cool. Dawn's vampire team sounds cool and glad there is not insta love or love triangle. Really hate those!
