Balzer + Bray, 272 pages

Charlotte’s best friend thinks Charlotte might be psychic. Her boyfriend thinks she’s cheating on him. But Charlotte knows what’s really wrong: She is one of the Forgotten, a kind of angel on earth, who feels the Need—a powerful, uncontrollable draw to help someone, usually a stranger.

But Charlotte never wanted this responsibility. What she wants is to help her best friend, whose life is spiraling out of control. She wants to lie in her boyfriend's arms forever. But as the Need grows stronger, it begins to take a dangerous toll on Charlotte. And who she was, is, and will become--her mark on this earth, her very existence--is in jeopardy of disappearing completely.

Charlotte will be forced to choose: Should she embrace her fate as a Forgotten, a fate that promises to rip her from the lives of those she loves forever? Or is she willing to fight against her destiny--no matter how dark the consequences.

After reading this book, I just feel like cuddling up and cry for Charlotte. It was heart wrenching the book is. But once I picked the book up I couldn't stop reading. There's 2 reason for it:

1. It was just that awesome. It got me hanging to it's every word.
2. I was sneaking reading it in class because:
    a) I wanted to finish it as quickly as possible because I don't want to burden my already heavy school bag   with it.
    b) Alia wanted to read this book immediately once she saw me holding it. I just have to finish it for her.

Suzanne Young wrote it beautifully although I didn't really feel it in the beginning. It was just full of emotion. A never-ending battle between good and evil. It's typical, I know, but she wrote it with a fresh twist, immediately making me put her in my 'Books From Author That I Just Must Have List'.

The sequel's coming out on June, 2012 and I can't wait to read it! Here's the link to it if you want to see it.
